What is the difference between Broadband and Leased line connection ?

I am planning to take internet connection but confused between leased line and broadband. What is the difference between 1MB Broadband VS 1MB Leased line ? Can you please elaborate it so that i can have a better thing to use?

Leased line is like you are getting full 1MB speed to use at your end but broadband is like you are taking several connection from the leased for example if 10 connections are taken from it so you will have a speed of 1/10 MB in the broadband.

Both the Broadband and Leased line rate will be 1mbps nn a 1mbps rented line and you would also get a fixed ip and is normally suggested for firms which depend on the net network to work on a regular basis. Some firms also use rented lines for around calls.
